Chief Keef has been sentenced to 20 days in Chicago’s Cook County Jail this morning after testing positive for weed, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The 18-year old rapper, real name Keith Cozart, was sentenced to 18-months probation, ordered to take random drug tests and paid a fine of $531 after receiving a speeding ticket on May 27 for going 110 mph on the Edens Expressway in Northfield, Illinois.
Keef is due back in court on October 21 for a child support case.

The Glory Boyz Entertainment crew continuing to crank out music. Chief Keef decides to release an official music video for “Ight Doe.” The clip was shot by @AZaeProduction.

During a recent Chief Keef concert his fans in attendance broke out into a huge melee while he was in the middle of his performance. This clip starts out with Keep getting a new grill for himself, and then transitions into the violent occurence brought on by some unruly fans. Keef and his crew continued to perform while the fists were flying.

Chief Keef is keeping busy. Just a few days after linking his Glory Boyz Entertainment with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad, Sosa gives us a preview of his upcoming music video, “Macaroni Time.”

Keef was sued for child support in January by a middle school aged girl he got pregnant when he was 15. The baby was born in 2011.

TMZ reports that Keef has been ordered to pay $2,600 a month based on his monthly income of $13,000. He also has to cough up $10,400 in unpaid support.
A hearing is set for next month to finalize the financial agreement.

Your move, Gucci Mane. Moments after Waka Flocka Flame released his new mixtape, Gucci debuts the first record from his partnership with Chicago’s Chief Keef. Chief Keef gears up release a new music video. The Glory Boyz Entertainment boss unveils a trailer for “Now It’s Over.” There’s also good news on the legal front for the Chicago rapper. XXL is reporting that he will get released from Illinois Youth Center this Thursday, March 14th.

A pastor from Chicago’s Southside is claiming he’ll be baptizing Chief Keef the Sunday after the young rapper is released from prison. The pastor, Corey Brooks, is the leader of New Beginnings Church not far from Keef’s home.

In the past, Pastor Brooks has been known for his community activism. He spent parts of winter on top of an abandoned motel in hopes that it would be torn down, and spend months of last summer walking across the country to raise money for a community center.

CT rapper2.JPG According to AllHipHop.com, a source inside of the juvenile detention center where Chief Keef is being held, claims that Keef is undergoing “changes” and is trying to become a better person. The source described him as being a “respectful, generous little dude” despite what the media has painted his general image to look like. The alleged source also claimed that Keef is actually a victim, and that he’s changed his mentality from that of “Chief Keef” to becoming just Keith, which is his legal name. The source predicts that when Keef is freed he will be able to conduct himself in a more responsible manner and become a positive influence in society.

Chief Keef has finally found a home. After being recruited by labels such as Cash Money Records, Grand Hustle, and more recently, Young Jeezy’s CTE imprint, the Chicago upstart has decided to sign with Jimmy Iovine and Interscope Records. Minutes before hitting the stage Saturday night as a guest of T.I.’s at Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash, he spoke with MTV’s Rob Markman on his new label situation and signing a publishing deal with Dr. Dre.

Despite Kanye West, Pusha T, Big Sean & Jadakiss doing a hot remix to Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like” track, he didn’t mention G.O.O.D. Music as one of the labels that he might be signing to in the near future. YMCMB is one of the labels that Chief Keef mentioned, along with Atlantic records. There’s no better example than Chief Keef, a 16-year-old rapper hailing from the Windy City’s south side. With the development of a heavy following in only a matter of months, Keef has caught the attention of another artist from the ‘Go, Kanye West. In this exclusive interview with FakeShoreDrive, Keef’s in-house producer Young Chop, who just signed a production deal with Warner Bros. speaks on Kanye being a fan of his production, Chief Keef, and the possibility we’ll hear something from the two artists.

FSD: So rumor has it that Kanye is a big fan of Young Chop?
Young Chop: Oh yeah, oh yeah. I haven’t met him yet, but I’m waiting to meet him soon.
FSD: Has Kanye reached out?
Young Chop: Oh yeah. He’s digging it. He has like 12 Young Chop beats right now as a matter of fact [Laughs].
FSD: I hear Ye’s a big Keef fan, too?
Young Chop: Yep, he’s a fan of Keef.
FSD: I’ve also heard that there might be a collaboration between Keef and Kanye in the works?
