Known for interacting with her fans throughout her world tour, Bey got close to one overzealous fan in front row who grabbed the singer and almost pulled her off stage. Being the consummate professional, Beyoncé didn’t lose a step as she continued her performance while security grabbed the man off her. “It’s alright, it’s alright…..Nice to meet you. Thank you, I love you too,” said Bey to her fan, who was lucky not to be kicked out.

A smart man knows MR. PORTER has the ill menswear clothes for the grown and sexy. In a recent behind-the-scenes photoshoot and feature for the website, Miguel gave MR. PORTER a bonus acoustic performance of his smash hit “How Many Drinks?” With only the guitar backing him, Miguel let his vocals do the talking, commanding the entire room, dressed in some of the finest garments out now.

It was a homecoming fitting for a Queen as the “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” pulled into Houston’s Toyota Center on Monday night. The sold-out crowd were treated to quite an evening as Beyoncé performed hits from her long catalogue, including “Bow Down” live for the first time. Among those in attendance were a group of Texas rap legends in Scarface, Bun B, Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Lil’ Keke, and Willie D, who came together for a special H-Town remix of Bey’s “I Been On” earlier this year.

A Houston-native, Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z showed appreciation to the rap pioneers as they posed for photos. Each artist also received a special gift from the pop diva in the form of a gold-plated Cartier lighter, a bottle of Armand de Brignac “Ace of Spades” and D’USSÉ Cognac packaged together in a black box. Earlier in the day, Beyoncé posted a quick four-second teaser of her upcoming “Bow Down” video online.

The countdown until Yeezus continues. After hosting a listening session in New York City, Kanye West flew across the Atlantic Ocean to Basel, Switzerland to play his new album. Held at Design Miami/Basel during Art Basel week, Kanye performed an acapella version of “New Slaves.” He also played other cuts off the LP, but had sound issues at various moments.

Yeezus arrives on Tuesday.

2 Chainz announced on Twitter fans would be treated to something new at Summer Jam and he delivered. Along with bringing out Nicki Minaj, the artist formerly known as Tity Boi used the stage at MetLife Stadium to debut the first single off his upcoming sophomore album due September 10.

Featuring Pharrell, fans in attendance and those tuned into the live stream heard the song “Feds Watching” for the first time. Expect a proper audio to impact soon.

All eyes were on MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday night as Hot 97 Summer Jam returned this year for its 20th anniversary. The main stage brought plenty of moments and unknown surprises all evening. Joe Budden, Miguel, Wale, Chris Brown, Fabolous, Wu-Tang Clan, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, and French Montana headlined this year’s spectacle.

Joe Budden pulled out fellow Slaughterhouse member Joell Ortiz and R&B singer Tank during his set. Miguel followed with J. Cole and Mariah Carey, while Wale kept it solo until the end with Meek Mill. Chris Brown added west coast flavor with Sean Kingston, as Brooklyn’s own Fabolous showed hometown pride with Lil’ Kim (Foxy Brown was also to appear). Wu-Tang Clan took fans back to the first Summer Jam with rap classics, and 2 Chainz followed up with Nicki Minaj plus the premiere of “Feds Watching.”

A$AP Rocky mobbed out with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, A$AP Ferg, Trinidad James, and ScHoolboy Q, leading into Kendrick Lamar’s m.A.A.d city mayhem. Papoose made an unscheduled appearance before French Montana closed out the night with Rick Ross and Lil’ Wayne.

Miguel had the honor serving at Summer Jam’s first R&B act of the night. As ladies crooned to hits off his Kaleidoscope Dream sophomore album, females in attendance had much more to scream about as J. Cole joined the stage to perform his Born Sinner single “Power Trip.”

The “Adorn” singer didn’t stop there. After teasing fans on Twitter early Sunday morning, Mariah Carey returned to Summer Jam joining Miguel to perform their “#Beautiful” collaboration

Fabolous had a few surprises up his sleeves. Starting with his “Ready” collaboration with Chris Brown, Loso brought his “Life Is So Exciting” tour to Summer Jam as Pusha T appeared on Sunday night. The energy went up another level as Meek Mill followed up with his Dreamchasers 2 club banger “Racked Up Shawty.” The big moment during Fab’s set was Lil’ Kim, who blazed the stage with her 1996 Hardcore single “Queen Bi**h.” Foxy Brown was scheduled to appear after, but ended up a no show on stage.

Staten Island was in the building as the group who opened Summer Jam 20 years ago returned on Sunday night. Wu-Tang Clan gave the new school a lesson on old school classics at MetLife Stadium. Even members of the Wu’s future including Ol’ Dirty Bastard and Method Man’s sons made appearances

At Summer Jam 2012, 2 Chainz appeared as a guest during both Young Jeezy and Big Sean’s sets. This year, he returned with a solo set going through his list of ratchet trap anthems. His biggest guest of the evening was none other than Nicki Minaj, that’s right Nicki returned to Hot 97 Summer Jam to perform “I Luv Dem Strippers.”

A$AP Mob invaded Summer Jam as A$AP Rocky made his official debut at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night. With a short time to work with, Rocky went through various cuts off his LongLiveA$AP debut album. After teasing fans with a special appearance from classic 90s artist, A$AP Rocky brought out Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone and Wishbone for “Thuggish Ruggish Bone.”

From rocking the Hot 97 Summer Jam festival stage earlier that day, A$AP Ferg brought his “Work” remix with guests Trinidad James and ScHoolboy Q.

Kendrick Lamar confirmed why he’s hip-hop’s new star at Summer Jam last night. The face of TDE commanded MetLife Stadium in the rain running through cuts off his good kid, m.A.A.d city major-label debut album. Keeping it in the family, K.Dot called on Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, and ScHoolboy Q during his 27-minute set.

Somehow Papoose made an appearance on the Summer Jam stage shortly after Kendrick Lamar and TDE exited. Getting right to the music, Papoose performed his single “Get At Me” and made sure viewers worldwide remembered his wife Remy Ma.

Closing out this year’s event was French Montana. Before his set was shut down because of weather concerns, the Coke Boys general had the sold-out crowd of 60,000 rocking to a medley of club favorites. Chinx Drugz, Rick Ross, and Lil’ Wayne all made guest appearances before the cut during “Ain’t Worried About Nothin.”

What beats having a pop superstar for a mother? Joining her on stage as she gives one of the performances of her life. Last night, on a London stop of her Mrs. Carter Show world tour, Beyonce brought her one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter out on stage as she delivered a breathtaking rendition of “Irreplacable.” Bey held the hand of her baby girl, who sported a cute dress and protective headphones, as she belted out her lyrics. This is one of those childhood memories Blue Ivy won’t hope to forget.

Alicia Keys’ “Set The World On Fire” North American tour made a stop to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday evening. Miguel, who serves as the tour opener, had a special surprise up his sleeve for those in attendance. After playfully reminding himself he’s in BK, the “Adorn” singer brought out J. Cole to perform their Born Sinner collaboration “Power Trip.”
