Mac Miller’s debut album Blue Side Park landed at the number one spot when he dropped it late last year. And while that’s certainly a great accomplishment, the young Pittsburgh rap artist isn’t taking his foot off the accelerator as he plans to drop three more full length albums before the year is over.

He spoke with Billboard recently in regards to his upcoming endeavors.

“I’m doing three collaborative projects before the end of this year. One is coming out soon, I can’t tell you [about them] but they’re all crazy, they’re all really dope. I think that’s just what I need to do right now, just explore, and expand, and make music with other people.”

“For so long I wanted to do everything myself.” He continued, “I wanted people to know I’m here because of what I did, and not because of a co-sign. Now that I’m here, I’m having so much fun working with people. My mixtape [‘Macadelic’] is filled with ridiculous features, and it’s just fun for me, so I think I gotta do more of that to just expand and grow as an artist.”

One album in a year can be prove stressful enough for an artist, but three LP’s in 365 days? We’ll see what Mac comes up with.

Could we see a Cam’ron and Mac Miller album or mixtape in the near future? It’s a distinct possibility according to Miller.

“Me and Cam are actually talking about doing a project together,” Mac told XXLMag.com. “We don’t know when we’re gonna do it. We have three or four songs recorded already. We’re working on more at this point.”

The unlikely duo have already released one song together “Dig That.”

Miller says the two share a similar sense of humor and have a good time in the studio.

“We’re two funny guys,” he shared. “We cut up a lot in the studio, and have a good time and make some dope music. I think the cool thing is that it’s an unexpected collaboration that actually turned out dope. We wanna do some soulful hip-hop s***, while also making some hard s*** and some fun music. [We’re] making sure that we do it in a way that’s different than other people who have done projects together. It’s still in the brainstorming stage, but we definitely have some dope records done. He’s got a lot of knowledge in that he’s schooling me on.”
