Lil Mama just landed a huge movie role. The 23-year old, real name Niatia Jessica Kirkland, has been selected to play Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in an upcoming TLC biopic on VH1
MC Lyte revealed the news in an interview with HipHollywood.
“I don’t know if I’m supposed to say, but I will,” Lyte said. “She just got the role of Left Eye in TLC’s new movie.”
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, serving as consultants and executive producers according to Rap-Up. The film is currently in pre-production.
